In honor of National Cheeseburger Day, I wanted to write about the Kimchi burger at the Front Porch Café on South Beach which is better known as Miami Beach, Florida. Brief insight on Kimchi; this is a traditional Korean dish made of seasoned vegetables and salt.

South Beach for true Miamians
I’m rarely on South Beach, mainly because of the parking and it is something about tourists that bothers me. Car crashes involving tourist suck because they don’t have to deal with the insurance and will be back in Europe by Monday. Furthermore, South Beach for true Miamians is a place to escape your day to day commute on the 836 or I-95 vs. get super wasted and lose your mind.
Miami Beach Parking Adventures
Alex, a high-school friend and his girlfriend were in town for what was told to me as our 10 year reunion from high-school graduation. Now, pause for a moment and think back to high-school and those adventures that took place. Ha! Collins Avenue and Ocean Drive are the hardest places to find a parking space on Miami Beach. A metered parking space was found after an hour of searching consequently less the $40 valet service.

Front Porch Café
Front Porch Café is a restaurant situated on Miami Beach’s world famous Ocean Drive. It is adjacent to the Villagio condominiums, which I was told that a famous movie director lived. I’ll update this in the future with details. I bought a Kimchi burger because a few years ago, I watched a YouTube video on how Kimchi was prepared and thought the preparation and presentation looked delicious. My burger was prepared medium well, with a side of fries and a small serving of Kimchi. Take the Kimchi and eat it after a bite of your burger, you’ll thank me later.
